Welcome. This website is run by RoHaus & Co., based in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands ("we", "us"). Long Story Long is our publication. By using this site or buying something from us, you agree to these terms. The short version: be kind, and we will be too.

What we offer

  • Free downloads. The library's printables and templates are free for personal use, in exchange for your email address. Please share the page with friends rather than reselling or republishing the files.
  • The newsletter. Long Story Long is delivered through Substack. Subscriptions, including the paid tier, are billed and managed by Substack under Substack's own terms of use. You can cancel any time from your Substack account.
  • Physical products. Paper Trails card decks and other physical goods sold through this store.
  • Consulting. Coaching, trip planning, and creative services as described on our consulting page. Specific scope, timing, and price are confirmed by email before an engagement starts.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euros unless stated otherwise. Where VAT (BTW) applies, the product page or invoice states whether it is included. Payment is handled through Shopify's secure checkout.

Shipping

We ship from the Netherlands. Estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout. If something goes missing or arrives damaged, email us and we will make it right.

Right of withdrawal (EU)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may return most physical products within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Email us before returning anything so we can send instructions. Digital downloads that have been delivered and personalized items are excluded once delivery or production has started. Our refund policy page has the details.

Consulting engagements

Calls can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance at no cost. Deposit and cancellation terms for larger engagements are set out in your written proposal.

Our content

The words, photographs, and designs on this site are ours. You are welcome to share links and short quotes with credit. Please ask before republishing whole pieces or using our photos commercially. Curious how this site gets made? We keep an open note about how we use AI in our workflow.

Liability

We put real care into everything here, but the site and its content are provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
