How to hunt for a glimmer

A glimmer is the gentle opposite of a trigger, a tiny moment that tells your body you're okay. We made this little noticing guide for the spinning-head days. Three ways to find one, a handful to look for, and a soft nudge to hook it onto something you already do. Print it, pin it by the kettle, and go hunting.

what's inside

Three little ways to catch one.

1.

Look around you

When your head's spinning, stop and really look at the room. The lamp, the plant on the sill, the light pooling on the floor. Naming the small ordinary things pulls you back into the day.

2.

Get curious about one thing

Pick one tiny thing and watch it. A bumblebee working flower to flower. You can't rush a bumblebee, and that's the whole point.

3.

Hook it to a habit

Pin it onto something you already do. The first cup of coffee, the walk home, the dishes at the sink. Every time, go hunting for the day's glimmer.
