RoHaus & Co. × Re-Tx Yourself present
Rewilding: a return to self
A long autumn weekend in Friesland · 24 to 27 September 2027 · LOFT, Boksum, the Netherlands
Three slow days to feel like yourself again. Warm meals by the fire, and a whole weekend where nothing pings.
Price: TBD, coming soon

What it is
A long weekend to come home to yourself
Somewhere between the tabs and the to-do lists, most of us drifted out of our own bodies. This retreat is a long weekend to come back to them.
We'll gather at LOFT, a converted village church a few kilometres outside Leeuwarden: sauna warm, hot tub steaming, kettle on, fire lit. Days move slowly and on purpose. You'll walk, make things with your hands, eat very well, and sit by the fire while someone else does the dishes.
Come to slow down and reconnect with yourself and with the land. And come to meet other people who've decided, like you, to put themselves first for a few days.

What the weekend holds
Slow, on purpose
Everything is guided and nothing is graded. Pick what you need on the day and skip what you don't.
-
01
Mindfulness sessions
Guided and gentle. No experience needed.
-
02
Analog workshops
Journals, collage, clay, and a postcard to your future self. Perfectly imperfect making.
-
03
Home cooked meals
Around one long table. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan guests eat well here.
-
04
Beautiful location
Fields and big skies on every side, and the Wadden Sea half an hour north.
-
05
Sound healing
Lie down and let it wash over you.
-
06
Nature invitations
The closest sound you can hear, the farthest, and other small ways back into your senses.
-
07
Glimmer workshop
Learn to catch the tiny good moments, then keep catching them at home.
-
08
Sauna and hot tub
Yes, both. Steam first, stars after.
The shape of the weekend
The programme is still being written, and the times will stay loose on purpose. Here's the rough shape.
-
Friday
Arrive in the afternoon. Settle in, meet the others, and share a first meal by the fire.
-
Saturday
A slow breakfast, a morning session, a free afternoon, and an evening of making things.
-
Sunday
Brunch together, then a walk or a workshop and time for the sauna. The evening is yours, or by the fire with us.
-
Monday
A closing session and one last coffee, then checkout by late morning.
Where you'll be
Frisian countryside, on every side
LOFT sits in Boksum, a village of a few hundred people ringed by meadows, sheep, canals and sky. Step out the door and you're in the fields.
Leeuwarden, the nearest city, is a 20-minute bike ride away. The Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage tidal coast, is half an hour north by car, and the islands sit just beyond it. On a clear night the sky does its thing.
Friesland is the Netherlands most visitors never see: farm roads, church towers, villages built on old mounds, and a language of its own. It's open and quiet. Which is rather the point.

Getting here
Fly to Amsterdam, then let the train do the rest
Friesland sounds far. It's a straight line from the airport, and we'll meet you at the end of it.
-
Fly into Amsterdam Schiphol
Direct flights from most of the US and all of Europe. The train station sits under the terminal: walk out of arrivals and you're standing in it.
-
Take the direct train to Leeuwarden
An Intercity leaves Schiphol twice an hour and runs straight to Leeuwarden in about 2 hours 15 minutes. No reservation needed. Buy a ticket at the machine or tap in with your bank card.
-
The last 5 km to Boksum
A taxi from the station takes about 10 minutes. Bus 93 stops in the village. Or rent a bike or e-bike in Leeuwarden and pedal 20 minutes along the farm roads.
-
Or drive
Renting a car at Schiphol works too. It's about 1 hour 40 minutes by road, coffee stop included.

After the weekend
Stay a few more days
Flying all this way for 3 days feels short. So we're putting together an optional add-on: a few extra days of slow travel across Friesland and out to Ameland, one of the Wadden islands, where there are dunes to climb, a red-and-white lighthouse, wide beaches, and 4 small villages to wander between.
Alex plans the route and books the trains and the beds, and knows the good bakeries. Meals are on you. Tick the box when you leave your email and we'll write when the plan is set.
