There are seasons in life when it feels like you are being gently pulled toward something, a path you did not expect but somehow always knew was waiting. For us, that pull has led here, to the beginning of Sanctuary Studio and our first offering, Cozy Corner Post.

We are Alexandra and Taylor, lifelong friends and cousins by heart, who grew up in homes where cozy was crafted out of simple things: shifting seasonal décor, a handmade quilt, the smell of something simmering on the stove. From working side by side at Alexandra’s family’s business to summers spent creating magic at Camp Batawagama, to rediscovering ourselves years later in a tiny attic apartment above a gezellig restaurant cozied right up to the canal in the Netherlands, we have always found ways to bring warmth, whimsy, and intentional living into everyday life.

Over the past few years, we have felt an undeniable pull, a whisper reminding us that cozy is more than décor. It is a way of being. Taking this leap with Cozy Corner Post is our way of betting on ourselves, trusting the threads that have been weaving this vision quietly all along.

Each month, Cozy Corner Post delivers a letter, a journal page, a postcard, and a seasonal ritual card, tactile reminders to pause, breathe, and create cozy wherever you are. These pieces reflect our core values:

This project is not just about mail, it is about remembering that small rituals can anchor us, that magic often hides in the ordinary, and that stories, whether shared across a kitchen table or in a letter sent miles away, stitch us together.

We also know we could not have gotten here without the incredible community surrounding us. Thank you to Avery, Alexandra's baby sister, who joined in on the fun with perfecting our graphic design and branding, and supporting our digital marketing. We would be lost without her! To our family, friends, and early cheerleaders, thank you. You reminded us that cozy is not just something we create, it is something we carry together. It is because of you that we felt brave enough to take this risk.

Cozy Corner Post is the beginning, but it is also a continuation of a story we have been living our whole lives. And we are so glad you are here to share in it.
